  reading flipper's thread about the gb providing instructions sparked this illustration in my head.. .

  you're driving down a winding mountain road, eager to get to your destination (let's call it life).

  How Do You Approach New Friendships Now?

  most of the website vistors and members have experience the wonderful conditional love (if not, why are you here?

  ), by the followers of the watchtower society.

  feel the love "that no other organization or group of men and women have experienced" or was it elusive during your tour of the religion?

  Most of the website vistors and members have experience the wonderful conditional love (if not, why are you here?), by the followers of the Watchtower Society. Did you

  feel the LOVE "that no other organization or group of men and women have experienced" or was it elusive during your tour of the religion? Did you ever find the promised "brotherhood of joy" or was that the "long con". A honest

  evaluation of the love Jesus Christ's disciples were ordered to practice, does not exist in this version of religon. The indentifying "mark" was "a different kind of love" love that was uncommon in this world, it would transcended the fear of death (I am willing to die for my brother), and made life happy, joyful and optimistic(These people are the cat's meow, they love so much!). The amount of "Hall-Jumpers" who

  are looking for a congregation that is "loving" is at a all time high. Women complain their husbands are having problems "getting close to a another

  male, a fishing, golf or bowling buddy" and husbands laugh at some of the so-called friends their wives have. Now for the question, now that you

  have been primed, are you finding friendships easier in the World? Do you find the new people as shallow, hollow or, are they more interesting with a

  wide array of interest. Do you socialize in groups of activities you enjoy, golf league, bowling league, clubs or donate time to help charities and other

  forbidden frowned upon activities? Once bitten, twice shy or open your arms up to any new man or women? Just curious.

  I think I wrote something about this in one of my first posts here. The old adage "Numbers don't lie, but liars figure" could be applied when the

  Circuit is told of the dire straights and deficit they are currently in (D.O. C.O., Elder Made Crisis by poor stewardship of money). Billing a exhorbitant rate for the use of a facility, is not bad if it is applied to the

  Assembly Halls debt, instead of being sent to "Wonderland's World Wide Work". The frustration of frugal servants, is put to the test, when kiss-ass elders

  want to deplete all the Circuits funds, by inviting a Bethelite speaker and wife, and send all excess to the Society's WWW, because having funds in the

  Kingdom Halls Accounts is not showing faith in God. The Pslamist did not mean "money could be a defense", he meant "Money should be spent as fast

  as possible, it shows more faith in God!"

  Jehovahs Witnesses and Entitlement

  i've noticed an attitude among the friends that they feel that they are owed something by society.

  example: at the last meeting one of the elders gave a talk about how "the system" is getting harder and harder to make a living.. .

  i know its a recession out there, but to blame satan the devil for your economic woes is kinda harsh don't you think.

  @hoser Yes, this World is hard to make a living, when you put all your constraints on your employer.

  I won't work Over-time, I won't work Monday after 7PM or work Sunday (Theoretical Service and Meeting Day).

  I won't work in a job, where the employer uses obscene speech, loose conduct among coworkers is another excuse. So many reasons, excuses and half-truths a person uses to remain under or unemployed :)

  however it is quite apparent that there are ranks within the jehovah's witnesses.. this is the list i have so far.

  @hoser It's alive and well, those wealthy weak ones, might donate some cash to their local halls. These weak ones, might need their windows, floors or house cleaned. It's more than a call on a weak sheep, it's a possible investment!

Weak publisher with worldy riches, it's fun to go to her house, while looking at all Satan's world has provided this sister, and she gives us a with a free cup of coffee, made by her "Clover" coffee machine. I can now tell the brothers in Noon field service, I had a 16oz coffee that costed $20. 3. Weak publisher with family in-play, (Elders, Pioneers, RBC, CO, DO) stopping by their homes, counts as "Double Time and a Half". 4. Invisible Publishers, who obeyed the Society, they were pioneers until they could not walk door to door. In Rest Homes (State Run) these wait to cash in on all the Theocratic Capital they amassed. So far, these assets are not fungible, and that's why nobody visits them.

  Invisible publishers that attend meetings, nobody knows they are there, nobody walks up and talks to them, nobody meets and greets their kids. These publishers have learned to blend into the wall, un-noticed like dust and spider webs on the fake plants.

  i checked out elihu books, the website looks decent and the writer does his due diligence.

  the next step was to look at the "message boards" which appeared to have virtually no traffic.

  why is elihu a virtual ghostown, with little webtraffic, (i looked at the postboard counts)?

  The group Elihu represents would indeed be small, I can't imagine anybody subscribing to a "My way or the highway" after dealing with the Watchtower Society, why attempt to reconnect with a control or power hungry entity. I don't think Greg is trying to control anyone, he is passionate about his beliefs and how he came to his conclusions.

  I was reading one of his boards he started, I think it's "What's your favorite qoute?", before I opened the thread,"I thought of some of my favorite qoutes" qoutes like "Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored or You shall know the Truth and the truth shall make you mad!" Aldous Huxley so i hit the link, hoping to find some well known qoutes. To my surprise, Mr. Stafford had provided his own personal sayings (things he thought up in his own head) as qoutes, idioms or time tested, well established wisdom. It bothered me, because another person should be qouting you or your wisdom, instead of talking about ourself in the third person" I will try to create my own qoute, here I go!
